Lead Mentor

Be an Early Childhood Lead Mentor!

Leads are essential to the running of the Mentor Network. As a Lead Mentor, you will grow your teaching and leadership skills, while providing professional development and support to our mentors.

You will receive ongoing training and support, as well as time to collaborate with expert peers and fellow lead mentors across New Mexico.

As a member of the Early Childhood Networks Leadership Team, you will receive a generous stipend for a variety of duties, including the facilitation of eight monthly meetings with mentors, using a community of practice, cohort-based model.

Serving as a lead for the Mentor Network is a part-time job that requires roughly 5-15 hours per week. We are always seeking bilingual leads!

"The Early Childhood Mentor Network has truly helped me develop my skills in presenting to colleagues and collaborating with different minded individuals in the topic of ECE. I've learned ways to engage in professional and productive communication with other adults, and have refined my teaching practice and my role as an ECE advocate."

Applications Open: April 1 – June 15
Leadership Meetings Begin: July
